We are all missionaries!

We had a good week. We had an interchange on Wednesday and I was with an elder from Panama and he was awesome. He taught me a lot and we had a good time. We have taught a lot lately but we are still focused on this family that we have. They were supposed to come to church but didn't. That was a bummer. They are super good and have grown a lot and sometimes they say things and it's like they are members. We have plans to pass by tonight and teach them so it's going to be a good night. Also, we gave them a little book to do their family history and when we went to their house last Friday, the mom had filled out a lot of it and is super excited about that. Man, that made my day it was a great surprise!

We also learned in our zone conference about how we really need to focus on our conversion so we can help others. They told us that if we aren't talking with everyone and opening our mouths we won't receive the blessings that God has for us and that it's so important to contact people. The whole mission has slacked off on contacting because they aren't asking for how many contacts we do weekly. My companion and I have been talking with so many and we have seen the blessings these last changes and we have really been finding new people to teach and to plant the seeds.

I know that if we are constantly giving this good example to everyone, people will be more receptive. We all need to do our part of the work as members. Someone in church said if all of us members did our part we wouldn't have missionaries. I thought that was super interesting because that's really true. Missionary work is for all of us. We are all missionaries and when we do our part it brings someone to the knowledge of the gospel.

I love you all and am thankful for all your help and the things you do.

Con Amor,

Elder Smith
